The SG-1 is an FAA compliant Basic Aviation Training Device (BATD) which allows pilots to log the following:
- 2.5 hours towards a Private Pilot Certificate.
- 10 hours towards an Instrument Rating.
- Instrument approaches and holding required for 61.57 currency.
